Honest answers about what we build, how it works, who owns it, and where the limits are.
Forever Spoken is persistent conversational continuity infrastructure. We build private, governed AI representations of specific people, knowledge sets, and cultural archives, so their voices, expertise, and presence remain in living conversation across time.
No. The platform's primary use cases are living people, active workforces, and operating institutions. Forever Spoken supports aging adults, family caregivers, retiring experts, and cultural stewards in real time. Deceased-subject representation is a specialized capability with stringent safeguards, not the platform's purpose.
Forever Spoken provides resident-centered AI companions for assisted living and memory care, supporting reminiscence, cognitive engagement, and connection with distant family. The platform is designed to integrate into the workflow of care teams and family caregivers, with clinically informed safeguards and human oversight, and is structured to align with research priorities at the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Mental Health.
Yes, by design. Every representation is grounded in identity fidelity, documented consent provenance, citation back to source materials, and human oversight at the steward level. Our governance approach aligns with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and is structured to meet the trustworthy AI expectations of programs such as the National Science Foundation's human-centered and trustworthy AI initiatives.
No. A deepfake is built to deceive. A Forever Spoken representation is built on documented consent, transparent provenance, and identity fidelity. Subjects are always identified, sources are auditable, and we will not fabricate positions or memories the subject did not hold.
The steward, typically the family, the care community, the enterprise, or the institution, owns the LifeCache. Forever Spoken operates as the platform and steward of governance. Source materials and the underlying model are portable on request.
Yes, with stringent safeguards. We require documented consent from the subject prior to death where possible, a designated steward who holds the right to revoke or modify, and grief-aware guardrails calibrated for the context. We do not deploy a deceased-subject representation without these in place.
Our senior living and healthcare deployments are built to be HIPAA-aware, with BAA support, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logs, and configurable data residency. We work with our healthcare clients to align specific deployments to their compliance posture.
General AI models speak in averages drawn from the entire internet. A Forever Spoken representation is grounded in one specific person or knowledge set, with explicit identity fidelity scoring, citation back to source materials, and clear guardrails about what they do and do not know.
Stewards can revoke or pause a representation at any time. Source materials are returned or destroyed per the steward's instruction. We document every revocation and confirm completion in writing.
