Golden light and cherished memories forming the gentle silhouette of a person

How It Works

A truthful digital persona, created with care and kept in your control.

Preserving someone you love should feel gentle, honest, and safe. Here is how we build a persona that stays faithful to who a person truly is, and how you decide who gets to visit.

The Process

Capture. Curate. Converse.

Three steps turn scattered memories into a living conversation, with a human in the loop at every point that matters.

01

Capture

Gather the raw material of a life: voice recordings, interviews, written stories, photos, video, and documents. Our guided prompts make it easy to draw out the moments that matter most, and every contribution is added with consent and a record of where it came from.

Careful hands reviewing and organizing cherished photographs and handwritten letters under a warm lamp

02

Curate

Nothing is taken at face value. You and your authorized curators review each memory as evidence: confirming, correcting, and approving it before it becomes part of the persona. This human-in-the-loop step is what keeps the persona faithful rather than fabricated.

03

Converse

Family, friends, colleagues, or students visit and talk, by voice or text. The persona answers in a way that reflects the real person's warmth, judgment, and stories, and every conversation can gently enrich the archive over time.

What Makes It Truthful

Faithful to the person, honest about its limits.

1

Every memory has an origin

Each thing the persona knows is traced back to a real source, a recording, a letter, an interview, so its answers can be inspected and trusted. Nothing enters without provenance.

2

It distinguishes memory from inference

The persona tells the difference between something the person actually said and a careful, reasoned guess, so you always know whether you are hearing a direct memory.

3

When it does not know, it says so

We would rather the persona admit uncertainty than invent an opinion or a memory the person never held. Faithfulness always comes before realism.

Consent & Access

You decide who visits, and you can change your mind.

A persona is a deeply personal thing. Access is governed from the very first recording, and control stays with the people it belongs to.

Consent comes first

A persona is built only with documented permission covering voice, likeness, and how it may be used. Consent is recorded, not assumed.

A named steward is in charge

Every persona has an identified owner or steward who approves contributions, invites visitors, and speaks for the family's wishes.

Access is granted, not open

You invite specific visitors and choose what each can see and do. Private conversations stay private, with role-based permissions for larger families and institutions.

The right to pause or revoke

You can update permissions, restrict access, or take a persona offline at any time. Your data is protected with encryption and, for care settings, privacy-aware handling.

Every persona is built to be inspected and defended: consented at the source, reviewed by people, and accountable for what it says. That is what makes it something a family, or an institution, can rely on.
